Lasting Impressions

Thumb Print Posters

I am always looking for ways to add a personal touch to any event and like many of the things i end up designing, the original request is a personal one. Weather i have an event to attend and want to take a gift or i simply want something for my own home.

New Venture for 2018

This year saw the opening of a little pop up shop in Staplehurst which has been a much spoken about wish by all the crafters living in the village and this February saw Katie from the Village take a huge leap and open “Made by Kent”, a wonderful and ever growing collection of crafters and makers from Kent.

Its right on the high street and offers a massive array of handmade makes, its a true reflection of the talent right on our door steps. I was lucky enough to be included in this great venture and look forward to the exciting year ahead.

At that time of year

Being a working mother at Christmas is not always easy…

Its sometimes a hard balance to strike between running a small business (especially at that time of year) and being a mother, and often its a constant juggling act to ensure I have that life balance. But i also don’t want to be all work and no play and know I can have some creative fun with my daughter and share some special moments sharing my love of art, design and handmade with her, even at the young age of  2 and half.

It was a perfect time to test the water and try out the beginnings of what I now refer to as “my little taste of Norway”.

Although I do both graphic design and baking, it’s sometimes hard to take my design work to fairs as a lot of work I produce is bespoke. and so I usually turn to the bakery to create some delicious treats for the festive season. But as you can image cupcakes and sliced cakes aren’t the normal choice around this year. So I turned to my heritage for inspiration for what i would bring to the festive season in 2017.

Wedding Design Help

It can often be very overwhelming when you first start looking in to all the things you need for your “big day”. I have brides-to-be get in contact who know what they like and exactly what they don’t like! However, with so much information out there, it can often be difficult to narrow down exactly what you’re looking for. It’s at this stage that I can provide support to brides-to-be.

If you’re planning your big day, I have listed below the starting points for discussions in order to get the ball rolling.
